Plays and Musicals
Judy's theater works have been performed in the United Kingdom, New York,
Chicago, California, and throughout the American Midwest. Her writing has
been recognized by such organizations as the National Music Theater
Conference and the American Alliance for Theatre & Education. Shows include
Emma & Company (named a "theatrical highlight of 2001" by Back Stage),
Sleepy Hollow (featured at the ASCAP/Disney Musical Theater Workshop) and
Me and Al, or How I Died in the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre (showcased at
the International Festival of Musical Theatre in Cardiff, Wales).
Educational Publishing
Judy writes fiction, nonfiction, video scripts, activities and testing for preschool
through middle school. Her clients include Pearson Scott Foresman and
Nieman, Inc. (for National Geographic). Subjects include reading, math,
science, social studies, health, business and school readiness. Judy holds a
B.A. in History and Music from Harvard University and an M.S.D.M. from the
Medill School at Northwestern University.
